You didn’t get tossed into your current relationship by mere fate. You sought out each individual for specific skills and abilities. You invited them to join your organization and they accepted your invitation. Both sides knowingly entered into the relationship. This relationship should be mutually beneficial. If you want employees to be invested in the success of the company, the company should be equally or more invested in the success of the individual.

You invest in your employees by them by compensating them at market value or above.
You are doing that, right?
You invest in them by setting and communicating expectations, early and often.
When's the last time you touched those job descriptions?
You invest in them by supporting them and treating them like a person, because they are one.
Yes. A person. With all those unique biases, feelings and imperfections.
This is where I can help you.
The more we understand about ourselves, the easier we become to work with. The Birkman Method explores our underlying needs and stress behaviors, allowing people to not only understand who they are, but also the complexities that make us unique and those that, by nature, make us tick. Birkman uses a scientifically developed, multidimensional assessment of personality data to help understand people's unique behavior across different situations and interactions. This tool is valuable for the individual, the team and the whole company.
Bringing yoga and mindfulness to your company is one of the best things you can do for your employees and, in return, your business. From tips on practicing mindfulness at work, to facilitating yoga and meditation in the office, each Yoga@Work program is specialized to the needs of your employees. I am excited to partner with forward thinking companies that understand the countless benefits of bringing mindfulness to the workplace.
Through Stay Interviews, I will help you identify what keeps your top performers motivated, what might tempt them to leave and help ensure that they feel the employment partnership is mutually beneficial. Connecting with this top tier of employees also provides vital insights into the culture of the company.
Person to person conversation allows for more insights and clarification than a survey could ever provide. By having an outside contact handle Exit Interviews, employees will be more likely to provide honest feedback. This also provides the opportunity for the employee to feel valued through the very end of the employment relationship.
Facilitated Roundtable Conversations allow teams or the entire company to connect on a specific topic. After a topic is decided upon, I will research the topic and deliver information to the company in a conversational format, allowing employees to ask and answer questions, provide insights and learn new information in a causal format. Past topics have included stress in the workplace, not taking feedback personally, how to handle change inside a company and how to have hard conversations.
In addition to these services, I have experience in:
- Feedback facilitation
- Meeting facilitation
- Real-time performance management (vs. annual reviews)
- Employee coaching for both low and high performing employees
- Communication training
- Leadership training
- Job description creation and review
If your ears are perked, let's connect and see if there is a place that we can work together to better your organization.
